I was having some minor issues, I could tab to move around a page but couldn't type, seemed a little sluggish.
So I tried doing an earlier restore point.
When it restarted, I got to the log in user screen & then it went black with mouse pointer (movable).
I held the power button until it shut off.
I tried restarting & didn't even get to the log in screen - just went black again.
Rebooted & tried safe mode & command prompt - same outcome.
Did some forum searching & tried the Ctrl+Alt+Del, to no avail.
I could
get into BIOS, but when I first checked it, the time was wrong - it was 6 hours fast.
I reset it & it seems to have stayed.

1) Is there an existing fix, I missed?
2) Re-install Windows 7?
3) Other?

Since it is a new computer check with ASUStek Support and the Seller.
As OEM ASUStek
is responsible for the proper operation of both the hardware and Windows.
Keep in mind
the more you do the more they will claim it is something you have done.
Added that even

further issues down the road.

somthing else drove it into Fault.

Run CHKDSK

Go to the Start button.
In the Search box, type "cmd" (without quotes) and press Enter.
At the command prompt, type "chkdsk /r /f" (without quotes) and press Enter.
Reboot your computer.

An error might pop up:

"Access denied as you do not have significant privileges. You have to invoke this utility in elevated mode."

Hello: I have been struggling to get my Bluetooth working in my Acer Aspire M5-583P for days now. I have finally got it to the point where it will actually connect to the Atheros System (after taking out The installed Intel one).

Well it connects and I can control my iPod Touch from the computer just fine. The problem is it will not play through the speakers of this computer:

The is the screen cap for an example (sorry anybody who doesn't like the Clash...but the question is: Why? :-) )

I can control my iPod touch with changing music but it will not play on my computer via my speakers (Realtek). In the Mixer there is The Extension Core Listed? But it is pulling up zero sound.

I have tried everything I can think of and now have come to an impasse. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

[Solution] Autofit row height doesn't work

Autofit row height doesn't work

In reviewing a spreadsheet, I've noticed that some of the text is not visible because the sizes of the rows are too small.
I want to adjust the row heights so that all the text is visible.
I have tried to fix it by double-clicking on the row border at
the far left of the window.
But that does not always work.
I've also tried selecting the entire sheet and double-clicking a row border, but again, it does not work.

I'd prefer not to have to adjust the size of each row manually.

(In case it matters, I do not see any merged cells in these rows.)

Hello friends,
I need some help here with auto-filling data from one sheet to another using data validation drop down list.
I need to export data from Quickbooks to an excel sheet and auto fill it on a self made JV template by creating links.
I have done some work on it (CREDIT GOES TO JEEDPED for helping me out on a previous assignment almost similar to this, Thx man).

I have created a drop down list on the JV template using daat validation.
the problem is i cannot get the proper values in account code, title, debit and credit.
Kindly resolve this issue for me as i don't know where i am going wrong.
The drop down list is set on Txn No: in the JV template.

Microsoft is getting pretty good at SR and text to speech..
I'm surprised Microsoft doesn't have their own AI avatar for the computer yet.
