Hi,

I have this table with Tools names and data.

Tool Code Tool Number Tools Name

The thing is that some tools have manually assigned a number, but the ones that haven´t, must be assigned an unique number, so it can´t be repeated in the future.
Also this number can´t be assigned again if a tool is deleted.
This numbers have to be assigned
in column B after the code of each tool.

So what I want is a menu or form that let me choose between tools S/D/E, and once I´ve selected it, it assigns an unique value to it in column B.

So how can I do this?

In shutting down my Windows 7 computer last night, automatic updates began installing 12 updates. This morning, update 3 of 12 was still being installed. I have tried opening task manager, using the escape key, even rebooting, but update 3 of 12 keeps

Once the Fixit has been downloaded and the system booted to the Clean state, check to see that the native Windows firewall is now On if a 3rd party firewall was being used previously.
Now run the Fixit and choose the Default mode.

If it can not, then run the Fixit again and choose the Aggressive mode.
Restart when it's finished running and check for updates.
I suggest before shutting down and installing any updates, disconnect from the Internet first.

Like the title says AutoPlay window won't show up
anymore for USB in Windows 7.
I know this feature was disabled by default, but I had enabled it long before.
However, my brother installed Kaspersky 2010 in my computer & he told me he did a 'vulnerability scan' and got rid of some of them, which included AutoPlay of USB devices.
I went to Control Panel - Hardware & Sound - AutoPlay
But there are no specific settings referring to USB, I set all the defaults to "ask me everytime" but still when I insert a USB and click the continue without scanning window nothing happens, so the only way to open it is via my computer, which is not efficient
for me.
Please help me, I want my AutoPlay window back!!!!!!!!!!!!!

·          Which troubleshooter are you talking about?

If you’ve not tried running Check Disk, give it a shot.
Normally check disk fixes problems related to hard disk.
If you have any diagnostic tool from the hard disk manufacturer, you may try running that as well.


Step 1: Run Check Disk from command prompt.

Note: You must run check disk from user account that has administrative privileges.

Steps for check disk:

1.     Click Start, and then
Run.
2.     In Open, type cmd,.
3.     Right-click on cmdn and select “Run as administrator”.
4.     Use one of the following procedures:
·         To run Chkdsk in read-only mode, type
chkdsk at the command prompt and then press ENTER.
·         To repair errors without scanning the volume for bad sectors, type
chkdsk c: /f and then press ENTER.
·         To repair errors, locate bad sectors, and recover readable information, type
chkdsk c: /r and then press ENTER.

Note If one or more of the files on the hard disk are open, you will receive the following message:

Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another process.
Would you like to schedule this volume to be checked the next time the system restarts? (Y/N)

Type Y and press ENTER to schedule the disk check.

Using System Restore

Click on the Start button on the Taskbar.
Type "System Restore" (without quotes) in the Search box and hit Enter or,
Click on System Restore (when you see System Restore pop up in the list of search results).
Make sure the "Recommended restore" radio button is checked on the restore utility window.
Click on Next and follow the instructions given.

Note: There is the option on the restore utility to select "Choose a different restore point". Unless you have a specific reason to select a different date and time than what Windows recommends, just select the recommended option stated in the steps above. If you choose to select another one, follow these steps:

Click on that desired date and time, and Windows 7 will perform a scan for any affected programs in that restore point.

Once completed, click Next and follow the instructions given.

Once you have selected the restore point, your system will start the restoring process, after which you will have to restart the system.

I use Word 2010.

I have 3 Avery Templates that I use which are 8965 (Jewel Case Standard and Slimline Inserts), 8315 (Matte White Note Cards), and 3265 (White Half-Fold Greeting Cards).
My question is this.
How do I set it up in Word or
my printer to print to the edge, as in the template itself it goes all the way to the edge which makes me think that it will in fact print to the edge, but when I print it out, it leaves white boarders all around the edges of the template.
Can you please help
me with this on how I should set it to where it prints just the way that it looks on the template.
Would I set it up this way in Word or my printer to print to the edge?

Also, I use Avery Template 8371 (White Two-Side Printable Clean Edge Business Cards).
What I need to know is this.
In Word I go to Page Layout and select Page Color to add a background color for the whole page.

In that specific template, is there a way that I can just add the background color to inside the cards themselves and not the whole page and how do you do it as this is a waste of color.

Most printers are not capable of printing right to the edge of the paper, which is known as "full bleed".

With some, you can trick them into doing it by defining a custom paper size that is larger than the actual paper so that the unprintable area is off the edge of the actual paper. If you overdo it, you can end up with a mess in your printer as ink\toner
