Black screen after sleep mode in Windows 8.1

Hello there,
On March 15th I got a new Dell desktop (Inspiron 3847 with windows 8.1) computer.
Since Wednesday the 26th I have this specific Problem it does not happen all the time but it happened say 1o times so far now:
If I leave the computer alone for 45 minutes or so come back to work on it again and the computer won't come out of sleep/hibernation mode.

No matter which key I press on the keyboard or touch the mouse the screen stays black.
The cursor is not seen on the screen.
Only shutting off the computer on the desktop itself and switch it back on gets the computer out of the black screen.
One time I
pushed the power button only slightly and the screen came back.

I also noticed that when I work with documents or be online sometimes the screen goes black for a few seconds (like 5 sec.).
Pushing any key or touching the mouse does not do anything.  After 5 sec.
the screen is back where it was like nothing happened.
This is a brand new computer and I feel this should not happen.
I wonder if this is a hardware or software problem or not a problem at all.
I never experienced something like that with other computers before.
I am in contact with Dell support since March 26 but so far they could not tell me what it is or what caused it and solve the problem.

I am very concerned that more problems might appear and this is only the top of the iceberg.
Does anybody know what's going on?

• Click on Boot tab
• Tick Safe boot in Boot option
• Select Network
