Fast Solution to Error: Auto fill in data base on certain criteria

Auto fill in data base on certain criteria

Hi All

I have a file (hereby call it "Client") with all the customers Code, Name & Salesman (cloumn A, B & C).
In another file (hereby call it "Info") I have a worksheet with lots of info related to the customers except the Salesman's info (due to system programming).
As this list of info changes every week, I need to know the Salesman related to the customer.

My question
Under "Info" column A, I will like to have a formula which can base on column B (Customer Code) and match with "Client" column A (Customer Code) and display the Salesman's name.

File "Client"

File "Info"

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

In cell A2 of "Info", try this formula:

=VLOOKUP(B2,Client!A:C,3,FALSE)

Copy the formula down column A as far as you have codes in column B.

Hope this helps / Lars-Åke

  • Download the Microsoft Windows ISO (installation device) from the following website:
  • Users must select the appropriate ISO, either 32 bit or 64 bit, depending upon their individual computer.
  • Extract the ISO file to a separate USB device or burn the program to a compact disc.
  • Run the Microsoft Windows 10 upgrade directly from the software that you have thus created.
