[Solved] Awaking from Hibernate without prompting while motherboard appears to be asleep.

Awaking from Hibernate without prompting while motherboard appears to be asleep.

I am not sure if I am describing this properly but it appears that my CPU and Motherboard are not communicating properly.  What is happening is that when I push the button for hibernate mode it goes through all the processes of hibernation and does hibernate.
The power light goes from straight blue to blinking orange.
Immediately after this the screen comes back on and windows starts back up from hibernation all while the power light is blinking orange.
At this point the hibernate button no longer works.  It does
appear as if the motherboard is in hibernate but the CPU is still working.  This also happens at shutdown, after the computer shuts down it immediately starts back up and the only way to get it to really shut down is to hold down the power button.  I have
disabled the network boot but am not sure what else to do.  Please help me because it is really frustrating!

Hi,

Let us remove all the external devices and then check if everything is working fine.
Also see what devices are used to wake the computer.

Method I
I would ask you to update the display drivers and  then check if everything works fine.
You may also consider updating the chipset drivers and check the power options in the BIOS.  You may contact the computer manufacturer about these settings.

Note:Modifying BIOS/complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) settings incorrectly can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from booting properly.
Microsoft cannot guarantee that any problems resulting from the configuring
of BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved.
Modifications of the settings are at your own risk.

Update and run your antivirus software. Windows doesn't come with antivirus software, but Action Center can often monitor the antivirus software that you or your computer manufacturer have installed.
